I JUST DON’T GET IT. Reading the article in the Army Times left me scratching my head. It’s a No Fly Zone for the Stars and Stripes? Really? They’ll take our cash but we can’t fly our colors for fear of offending them? Really? They’ll plead for charity and then cry for political correctness, fearful that we look like “conquerers?” Conquerers? Am I reading this correctly? They’ll take American aid then decry the American symbol?
We can fly our drones over Pakistan but we can’t fly our flag over Port-au-Prince? Where are our PR concerns there?
